Where is my delivery?

You should receive an email shortly after your order has been dispatched with a tracking number and the courier name. Please check the couriers site for tracking information. If you are having problems with the site get in touch and we will do our best to help.

Please note the lead time selected at checkout is approximate. As we use 3rd party couriers, sometimes things happen that are out of our control.

All days quoted are working days, not including weekends. Any orders placed during the weekend will not be processed until the following Monday.

Can I collect in-store?

Yes! At the checkout, you can select the option to collect from either of our branches in Coventry or Redditch free of charge.

If you choose this option, please wait to receive an email stating that your order is ready for collection before starting your journey to us. Of course you can contact us if your order is urgent and we will give you a time slot to collect.

Do you have a tolerance for cutting?

On sections we operate on a +3mm -0mm to allow for finishing to your desired length.

Guillotined sheets will be +/- 1mm

Cut block is upto 5mm added to each requested dimension.

If you require a tight tolerance, please get in touch and we will do our best to help.

Do you keep all items in stock?

No, as you can imagine, our stock levels will change on a daily basis, and we can be caught with no stock on items from time to time.

The site allows you to order the majority of items even if we have no stock on hand, as usually we can source it for the next day or so. We will be in touch if there are any issues regarding extended lead times.

On rare occasions, we may not be able to acquire the selected item. If this happens we will be in touch to offer the closest alternatives or a full refund. This can also apply with the price of certain items. For example, non ferrous materials can fluctuate in price from one day to the next. Whilst we try to keep on top of our prices and keep them as current as possible, mistakes can happen on our site, which means, very rarely we may have to cancel an order as the selling price is not a fair reflection of the cost of the material. We will of course be in touch to discuss options if this does happen.

What shipping methods do you offer?


– Post (signature required)
Items upto 600mm in length, and 2kg in weight. Items are sent 2nd class signed for. Usually they will be with you in 3-7 working days from the date of dispatch.
There is no tracking available for this method. Please call 02475 095 911 if you are experiencing any problems.

– Hermes (3-7 days)
Upto 1100mm in length, and 10kg in weight.
Track items here

– UKmail (1-4 days)
Upto 1200mm in length.
Track items here (ukmail is now part of DHL)

– TNT (1-4 days)
Upto 2350mm in length.
Track items here

– Collect in store
Any length or weight
If you do require items to be cut to size to fit in your vehicle for transport, please order accordingly through the website as we might not be able to cut the items while you wait.
You must ensure that the goods are secured safely for travel according to road safety laws.

– Free delivery by branch
Upto 7500mm in our company van. Offered if your postcode is within a 10 mile radius of either of our branches. If you feel as though you qualify for free delivery by branch, but have not been offered it, please call your local branch to place your order rather than through the website.

– Free shipping
Orders over £70+vat, for the majority of mainland UK. Please enter your postcode in the basket to see if you qualify. We will select the most appropriate method of shipping available.

Please be aware that all shipping methods are not available for certain postcode areas. If you happen to know that one of the couriers listed above will deliver to your postcode, please contact us on 02475 095 911 and we will get a price for you.

All lead times quoted are to be used as a guide. We aim to ship your order the same day, but sometimes due to capacity and/or stock levels the time to dispatch can increase by a few working days. We will keep you informed if there is a delay. If you need your items urgently please call us on 02475 095 911

There may be occasions once the items ordered have been packaged for dispatch exceed the upper weight/length limits of the selected delivery method. If this happens we will be in touch if we can’t find a solution.
