MAKERS-CENTRAL

The Rapid Metals team is proud to be attending Makers Central, an event that will be held on 13 – 14 May 2023 at the NEC in Birmingham. This is an annual event that was started by Youtuber, Nick Zammeti, who became known for his impressive makes and builds of various objects. The event is a great space for individuals who love crafting with metal, wood, plastic, and other materials. As a result, we’re more than confident that we’ll fit in!

We’re very much looking forward to attending Makers Central, which is why we thought we’d put together a blog about it. This way, our customers can learn more about the event, and we might even see you there! Read on to discover more about Makers Central and why you should certainly buy tickets this year.

About Nick Zammeti

Nick Zammeti started his YouTube channel in 2015, which initially started out as a hobby. Since then, though, the channel has grown significantly, allowing him to create videos full-time. As well as entertaining people and inspiring new products, the premise of Zammeti’s YouTube channel revolves around the creating and making of “stuff”. Aside from a handful of blacksmithing and woodturning lessons, Zammeti is a self-taught “maker”.

In addition to his YouTube channel and Makers Central show, Zammeti was also a part of Channel 4’s Mend it for Money in February 2021. It’s safe to say that he’s among the best makers in the country, and we can’t wait to attend his event.

Rapid Metals is, of course, a metal supplier. With branches in Coventry and Redditch, we’re not too far from Birmingham, making Makers Central the ideal opportunity for us to network with like-minded people! We have an extensive metal collection with various metal types, each of which can be applied to a multitude of unique projects. Ultimately, making is at the heart of what we do, which is why we’re so keen to get involved in the upcoming Makers Central!
